Last year my small group huddled up Saturday at  the Sports Cafe, New Zealand House, 80 Haymarket and watched a college game. For those in town already it could be nice to meet at a less crowded place rather han near Wembley on gameday which was packed to the brink. For those arriving on gameday there could be a different setting.....?

The 15,000 tickets available in the second general admission sale for the NFL regular-season game at Wembley Stadium sold out Friday in 30 minutes.

Just imagine what happens if they ever get two "real teams" over there to play a game?  ie.  49ers vs GURLS, or Packers 49ers........... :o I know I am biased.

Interest certainly hasn't peaked yet  ;)  Hopefully 49er colours can dominate a little more this year and influence those who pick the teams. Since it seems to feature AFC v NFC I think the Broncos, Raiders or Patriots are the ones with most fans over here from the AFC.

If the 49ers open some eyes this season how about 49ers vs Pats, and how sweet would it be to win that game in a thriller? 8)

Believe me my man the first time I saw them live about 6 years ago at Soldier Field was one of the most exciting experiences of my life.

Hi Guys, I got my ticket for Wembley. Will be going alone (from the midlands) so would love to meet up with fellow niner fans. I'll be wearing my Montana road jersey.

Hey Grid, no I still have one of the codes, but i'm not sure if they still work as I think that batch of tickets were sold out on their release date!  I dont mind digging it out for someone to have a try with though!

cool, I'll dig one of them out later when I get time to go through my emails and I'll PM it to him just in case - if not, theres another batch of tickets that'll go on sale in the next few weeks, so if any of my friends get passcodes, I can forward that on.  It's great to hear of another person coming to our rally!  should be a great night!

no problem, I'll log on (if I can remember my userID at the site!) and post a bit later - 25th at around 6pm right?  Is it worth mentioning the sports cafe, or shall we wait until we have a better idea of numbers before booking a table and then announce it 'officially'?

Only being a "sophomore" myself I take nothing for granted  :)  This year will be very different from last year given the number of players involved.

When the loser has bought a round, perhaps the gracious winner will do the same  ;)

We fly over Sunday so I can't make it to the Saturday event :'(

Any plans for a meeting place at/around Wembley on Gameday?
