We fly over Sunday so I can't make it to the Saturday event :'(

Any plans for a meeting place at/around Wembley on Gameday?
Too bad you can't make it on Saturday  :(

We haven't discussed meeting on Sunday but I'll let you know if something comes up and we can pm each other with phone numbers so I can share any development with you if it is decided "in the last minute"!

Cains, looking forward to meeting you. I appreciate your offer but I believe that my friend arranged our flight from Tirstrup.

Will you make it to our rally on Saturday as well?

Ok..  Cool enough :)

Was my plan as well.. But my titans friend is in wheelchair, and wasnt possible to get any help when calling ryanair, to get him onboard, or info on what i should do..

So tried sterling from billund instead. They helped me right away.. So that was easy choice :)

I dont know with that meeting.. Not easy to get around in wheelchair me think. But dont know for sure..
So also depends on him..

But will look closer into it.. :)  Could be coool, meeting up with fellow niners..

Did you go last year as well?  Every pub was packed with NFL fans!

I can't remember the name of the pubs we visited prior to the game but a wheelchair would have had problems getting in  :-\

Hi folks

Just a quick one to say that I'm still coming along, although it looks like my group will be travelling down on the Sunday, so I'll miss any Saturday Dise gathering.  But closer to the time I'll PM you guys my contact details and we'll see if we can hook up on Sunday pre/post game.

Now I just need to find or order my niners jersey.......

Hahaha you should keep it, it could be a rare collectors item a few years from now!!  ;)

Strangely I was thinking of trying to get a Keasey jersey.  He's No.45 this season isn't he?  I've always had a thing for the under-appreciated underdog types who've fought tooth and nail to get on the roster.

Does anyone know any good shops or websites over here (UK/Europe) to order from??

You'll be hard pressed to find any shops in the UK or Europe that will do custom jerseys to be honest Scottish :(  Your best bet is to order one from the NFL shop at NFL.com - I got a custom jersey there last year, and they arrive within a week or so, but they arent cheap, especially if you factor in import/customs charges (plus the extortionate Royal mail 'handling' fee - an example is the $95 I spent on the collectors edition of Madden 09, and I had a £16 fee to pay (equivalent of about $30) to collect it - £9 of which was the Royal Mail handling fee!).
If you just want a regular pre-printed jersey, then the usual places over here are worth a look:
http://www.ta-sports.net/nfl_shirts.htm
www.kitbag.com (NFL UK use these).

DONT expect a lot of choice though, its usually only a maximum of 2 players to choose from, if that.

Personally, I'd check out Ebay for jerseys - as long as you know what you're looking at (there are fakes on there, but 9 times out of 10 they're blatently obvious), you can get the perfect jersey, for a decent price - you generally have 3 types:  The screen printed jersey, the 'sewn' jersy (where all numbers and letters are sewn on), and the fully authentic 'on the field' jersey (they use some weird name like 'replithentic' or something) - the first two types account for about 99% of them online (and anywhere else) and are under $100 for adult sizes, and available in the popular current players, as well as throwbacks (Montana, Rice, Clark, Lott etc).  The replithentic ones (much heaavier fabric) are 2 or 3 times more, as are the Mitchell and Ness jerseys, which are exact replicas of those worn on the field in the past (You're looking at $250+ if you can find one).
The other thing to look for is size - adult sizes generally start at Medium, which is a 48inch chest, so for people like me (5'7, 140lbs), I end up buying Youth Xl sizes which is for up to about a 40-42 chest!  I dont mind though, saves a lot of money as they are cheaper than adult ones!

Don't forget to bring back the gameday program and the game day pin. You'll get the money when we meet in October with a pint (or two) as interest  ;)

no problem mate, already have the programs for you and D-Roc on my shopping list!  Didnt realise you wanted a pin too - any ideas what they look like? Where to get them?  Just from the official stores in the ground, or somewhere else?

They are at every stand at the stadium. They produce a pin for every game day with the helmet logos and the date. They cost $5 (last year anyway  ;))

Cheers for the jersey links London mate.  Have a great time.

P.S.  Limited selection, but cheaper jerseys from a UK store:  http://www.acasports.co.uk/index.php?cPath=21_22
Might just get myself a Gore one in time for the game.

Top 10 things about Beer vs. Women.

10. A good beer yields good head, but not all good women do.

9. You can share your beer with your friends, but you really can't share your woman with them.

8. You can hang out with your beer all night, and chances are you will enjoy the conversation.

7. When you and a beer are finished a new one is an arms reach away, when you and your woman are finished that arms reach will get you slapped.

6. Beer tends to solve all the problems that women create.

5. If you feel the need to try new beer, go down to the package store and look in the cooler and pick one. The only place I've been to where you can window shop for women is Amsterdam.

4. If you were to get into bed and find a cold beer would you complain? Now if you were to get into bed and find a cold woman...

3. Not only will beer not care if you spend the Sunday watching football, but chances are it was beer who sponsered the game.

2. Even if you have poor eyesight, beer improves your ability to spot attractive women.

1. Try finding the woman you want to come in groups of Six
