We arrive Sunday morning as usual so no chance unfortunately.  :'(  It sounds pretty cool though. Remember to get some Cheerleader pics for the Live Gallery here 8)

Have to hurry home after the game too as I get to watch Messi, Inesta, Xavi etc. against my FC Copenhagen the day after we get back from London :)

So much to do, so little time...

I have just learned that the 49ers will team up with Tottenham Hotspurs during the London visit on October 26 to promote phisical fitness and healthy lifestyles to low-income youth. The event will be held at Northumberland Park Community School from 2.00 PM - 4.00 PM.

As a Hotspurs fan this should be something for London49ers  ;)

What looked like a nice win in London is now very much in doubt.

I hope we do not get embarrassed.   :-X

No but we are just pathetic right now.

The offense obviously has some major improving to do or we will get beat by them.

I don't think we were pathetic tonight. Defense played well and we should have won it  :'(

Denver was lucky beyond reason and one can only hope fortune will be reversed at Wembley!

Because the Niners will be 4-4 after they beat Denver in London on Halloween.

I can only encourage everyone to go to the tailgate party at the Green Man which has been far better than the official tailgate the previous 3 years.

If you intend to go to the Green Man let the rest of us know what to look for;  jersey number, if you go with other non-49er fans like myself etc.    Hopefully it will be more difficult to find each other this year due to a large turnout of 9er fans to our home game so be as specific as possible. If you are active on facebook a pic should be helpful  ;)

The previous years I have met London49ers, Scottish49er, Hojer (though not at the tailgate) and would like to add to the numbers  :)  Two weeks away and counting down  8)

Many of the reporters who cover the 49ers have committed to attend a reception and no-host lunch for 49ers fans on Saturday, Oct. 30, at noon at Waxy O'Connors, an Irish pub located at 14-16 Rupert Street in London. Waxy O'Connors is near the Piccadilly Circus tube station which is on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines.

Other exciting possibilities

The excitement continues on Saturday from 1pm in Trafalgar Square, where NFL fans can look forward to an afternoon combining interviews with stars past and present of the sport with performances from the 49ers Gold Rush cheerleaders and music acts including Super Bash favourites The Cuban Brothers and rapper Asher Roth at the NFL Fan Rally. Also appearing at the event will be Supermodel and 49ers Superfan Marisa Miller – voted FHM’s Hottest Woman in the World in 2009 – who will be on stage and will meet fellow NFL fans. A full schedule for the NFL Fan Rally will be posted on nfluk.com in the week of the game. Find out more about the event in Trafalgar Square here.

As I understand it the official Tailgate party just outside Wembley is now open for all game-ticket holders. No charge.

I think we'll just head to the official part as we arrive. Climbing that hill up to the Green Man makes me far too thirsty anyway :)

I'll be wearing my Gore jersey so it should be very easy to pick me out Grid :)  I guess you come as Crabtree again this year?

I haven't decided yet. I have a white Rice Jersey which I will bring to the party on Saturday Night with the hope that Rice might sign it. If he does, I think #80 will be preferred   ;)

grid, that's you? Congrats! I would ask Goodell about why he keeps mentioning that the Niners and Raiders should share a stadium. I'm curious whether Goodell would withhold NFL funds (G3 or whatever they call it in the new agreement) from the Niner project if the Raiders and Niners can't come together. So my question:

You've stated on several occasions that the Niners and Raiders should work together for a new stadium in the Bay Area. Assuming there is a new G3 fund (or something) in the new collective bargaining agreement, would you consider it a prerequisite that the two teams be working together on a single stadium plan to win your endorsement of NFL funds for the project?

I hope all of you have a great time seeing the Niners in London. It's not nearly as exciting, but I'm looking forward to seeing them here in St. Louis. Of course I doubt they bring the Gold Rush for their battle with the Rams!
Touchdown 49ers!

Impressive Grid! You're going to have one heck of a trip this time it seems  :) :o

Me, I'll just have to settle for flying back from London to watch FC Barcelona get beat up by FC Copenhagen in their Champions League rematch live at Parken the day after we return home. I can live with that too 8)

Ups. Forgot my question to Goodell:

Is it considered bad form to set fire to the jersey of your own teams starting QB? During the game?
